Saudi Arabia Establishes International Center for Artificial Intelligence Research and Ethics in Riyadh
Saudi Arabia’s Prime Minister and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has recently given the green light for the creation of the International Center for Artificial Intelligence Research and Ethics. This significant decision, which aims to expedite the progress of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, was formally approved during a Cabinet meeting presided over by the Crown Prince on Tuesday.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the center will operate with its distinct legal identity and possess financial and administrative autonomy. This independence will enable the organization to function efficiently and make strategic decisions in line with its mission and objectives.
