Swedish open banking platform Tink has partnered with Nordic bank Nordea to integrate its account aggregation features into its digital banking app.
From today, Nordea’s customers in Sweden will be able to access a comprehensive view of their finances, including mortgages, savings, loans and current accounts.
The two companies are hoping to roll out the new services across Norway, Finland and Denmark within the next few months.
Nordea is also planning on adding other Tink features to its app later on this year including giving customers the ability to categorise costs, analyse spending and set budgets.
Daniel Kjellén, co-founder and CEO of Tink, said: “Our open banking technology has already helped millions of bank customers across Europe to get a better overview and understanding of their finances.”
The partnership now means that Tink is available to almost 11m bank customers in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
Tink has had a strong first half of 2020 so far.
In January the Swedish fintech closed its largest funding round to date, raising €90m in fresh funding.
Just a week after Tink closed the funding round, it announced a strategic partnership with BNP Paribas to implement Tink’s solutions for account aggregation, payment initiation and personal finance management.
At the end of March, Tink announced it had acquired Spanish account aggregator Eurobits Technologies, seeing it expand into 17 countries in total across Europe and Latin America.
