Tink Announces New Partnership With Sweden-Based Payments Platform Kivra

Tink, a Sweden-based fintech that provides APIs to create next-generation banking services, announced on Friday it has joined forces with digital mailbox provider Kivra to make it “easier” to pay bills and invoices. According to Tink, Kivra’s digital mailbox to more than 3.7 million users in Sweden. Through the Kivra app, users are able to receive and process all their bills and important mail in one place, making life simpler while also sparing the environment.
“With over 2.5 million invoices to be settled every month, Kivra was looking for the most cost-effective and friction-free way to enable these payments, and now they’re partnering with Tink to make it easier to settle invoice.”
Tink further revealed that Kivra’s app already provides the possibility to pay invoices with a solution built on Swedish direct debit Autogiro, where customers would pay Kivra and then send it to the recipient. Speaking about the collaboration with Tink, Anna Bäck, CEO at Kivra, stated using Tink as a provider for the company’s new payment service is a “natural choice as she and her team explore the market.
“It is an important step in our ambition to improve the user experience to develop a payment solution through the opportunities made possible by PSD2.”
Tink VP of Payments, Tomas Prochazka, added:
