Dream Payments Receives $1.5M Investment Award as Winner of VentureClash 2016

Dream Payments, a Toronto, Canada-based fintech cloud enabling payments across mobile devices and the Internet of Things, received an investment of $1.5m as the winner of VentureClash 2016.

VentureClash is a global investment challenge for fintech and digital health companies developed by Connecticut Innovations (CI).

The award will be used to further accelerate the growth of Dream’s market share and accelerate its entry into the United States.

Led by Brent Ho-Young, CEO, Dream Payments enables financial institutions to create and deliver mobile financial services to business customers. It connects financial institutions, merchant acquirers, retailers and value-added apps to deliver mobile point-of-sale (POS) applications, payment terminals, remote device management, customer onboarding and secure payment processing.
