Fintech firm Revolut launches a Robinhood-style stock trading service

via CNBC 

  • Revolut’s trading feature lets users buy or sell popular U.S. stocks from Apple to Beyond Meat.
  • Users can also buy a fraction of a share, with the minimum amount being $1 worth of stock.
  • The move comes after Robinhood’s botched attempt to launch checking and savings accounts.

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by adjusted trading volume, is implementing stronger know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations to ensure data security and compliance across their global operations.

Following the launch of Bitcoin Lite in Australia, Binance announced today a new partnership with Medici Ventures portfolio firm, IdentityMind. This collaboration is part of a joint mission to help raise the blockchain industry’s standards by improving existing data protection and compliance measures. eToro Wallet Mobile App Now Allowing Users to Buy Crypto With Fiat

Global investment platform, eToro, announced on Monday that its eToro Wallet mobile app is now allowing users to buy cryptocurrency with fiat. According to eToro, all cryptoassets available in the eToro Wallet (currently Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and XRP) may now be purchased directly in the wallet app using a credit or debit card (Visa, including Visa Electron and Visa Plus, MasterCard, Maestro, and Cirrus). Robinhood stock trading app valued at $1.3 billion with big raise from DST

Thomson Reuters to Acquire Avox and Clarient


Thomson Reuters has signed agreements to acquire Avox Limited and Clarient Global LLC. The businesses run by Avox and Clarient will be integrated into Thomson Reuters’ portfolio of risk management, compliance and reference data offerings after the closing of the deal, which is expected to take place by the end of first quarter.
