OurCrowd Forms New Partnership With UK Investment Firm Oxx

Israel-based crowdfunding platform OurCrowd has reportedly formed a new partnership with UK-based investment firm, Oxx. According to The Times of Israel, the new partnership will allow OurCrowd to invest in portfolio companies as they move to the growth stage. The collaboration will also provide Oxx’s investors and portfolio companies access to OurCrowd’s invest network, which is available in 110 countries throughout the world.

In a statement, Richard Anton, Oxx general partner, stated:

“Enabling our fund to access OurCrowd’s large pool of technology experts and investors will be a huge benefit to our fund and portfolio.”

Anton also revealed that the combined strengths of the two companies will produce data that will help “uncover the best companies in which to invest.” Founded earlier this year, Oxx revealed that it exists to propel companies from promise to success. The company invests in scale-up stage B2B software businesses with serious commercial traction and which originate in the UK, the Nordics or Israel.  The company also noted it wants to invest in B2B software and category-defining companies. It was stated:

Europe and Israel generate many high quality B2B software companies but capital is sparse just when they are ready to scale up. Oxx fills this gap. We invest in ambitious companies originating in the Nordics, the UK and Israel and building out in the US.

Recently, Oxx notably saw one of its portfolio companies, cybersecurity firm ForeScout, complete its IPO. The company currently has offices in both London and Stockholm.
