Indian Venture Firms Support Accelerator Launch

Pramod Saxena, the founder mobile payment platform Oxigen Wallet, has launched Aarambh Ventures, an accelerator for India-based startups, according to VCCircle.

The accelerator, which will open in late 2016, will operate out of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. It will focus on startups in the technology, mobile, health, agriculture, clean technology, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, big data and fintech sectors.

The accelerator is supported by venture-capital firms including Omnivore Partners, Unitus Seed Fund and IvyCap Ventures.
